Artist's Description
Twin Falls is the first waterfall you come to on the Road to Hana on the island of Maui. You can't see it from the road. in fact, you have to hick about 3/4 of a mile to get to it. Parking is at the Twin Falls fruit stand. If that's full there is another parking area just a little further up the road. The hike is well worth taking the time to do. You walk along a very well maintained dirt road that is lined with beautiful tropical flowers, bamboo and trees. The area is very lush and green, pretty typical for a rain forest. The water fall has a nice pool that is perfect for swimming. There is a cave behind the waterfall that is fun to explore and you can hike to the top of the falls and jump into the pool below, so refreshing.
