Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Ocean life is an amazing thing to watch. Living on Maui offers me lots of opportunity to do just that, watch. This painting combines two of my favorite ocean entertainments, waves and sea turtles ( know as honu ). Can you spot the honu?

The ocean is a huge body of saltwater that covers about 71 percent of the Earth’s surface. More than 80 percent of the ocean has never been mapped, explored, or even seen by humans. It is unknown how many different creatures and plants are living and thriving in it.

Here on Maui, I get the opportunity to watch a tiny fraction of of this great mystery form time to time. Being able to paint it is a challenge I like to give myself. Since the ocean is constantly changing, never looking the same from second to second, I'll have more inspiration than I'll ever know what to do with.

So, did you find the honu?
